Automate Stripe payments and invoicing
Create Stripe customers and invoices from your systems, read charges and subscriptions, and keep payments in step with your ERP, CRM and support tools.
- Payment succeededtrigger
- Find the invoiceaction
- Record in ERPaction
- Notify accountsaction
- Reconcileddone
Stripe takes the payment, and then finance, sales and support all need to know about it. Spojit's built-in Stripe connector creates customers, invoices and payment intents and reads charges and subscriptions, so payments flow into the rest of the business.
Stripe is a built-in connector in Spojit, connected with a secret or restricted key from the Stripe Dashboard under Developers, API keys.
- A Stripe account
- A secret key, or a restricted key limited to what your workflows need
What you can automate in Stripe
A Stripe payment succeeds
Record the payment against the invoice in NetSuite or your accounting system
A new customer signs up
Create the Stripe customer and the matching CRM record
A subscription is due to renew
Send the customer a reminder and alert their account manager
A charge fails
Create a follow-up item on the accounts board with the customer and reason
Built for real Stripe work
Customers and invoices
Create customers and invoices, and look up customers, from any workflow.
Payments
Create payment intents and charges, and read charges and payment intents for reconciliation.
Subscriptions and products
Read subscriptions and products to drive renewals, reporting and access.
Good to know about connecting Stripe
A restricted key is the safer choice: grant read on charges and customers for reporting, and add write only where a workflow creates invoices or customers.
Test mode and live mode have separate keys and separate data. Build against the test key first, then switch the connection to the live key.
Stripe amounts are in the smallest currency unit, so 25.00 dollars is 2500. Converting at the boundary avoids invoices that are out by a factor of a hundred.

Stripe automation, answered
Can Spojit sync Stripe with NetSuite?
Yes. Both are built in, so payments, customers and invoices can be reconciled between them.
Should I use a secret key or a restricted key?
A restricted key with only the permissions your workflows need is the safer choice.
Can a retry charge a customer twice?
No. Spojit applies side effects exactly once on the write path, so a retried step does not repeat a charge.
What is possible depends on your plan and authorized Stripe API access. Some endpoints are gated by the vendor or your account tier, so not every workflow is available on every account from day one. You can request a feature or integration any time, and we will get in touch to figure out how to make it work.
