Spojit
Klaviyo + Power BI integration

Connect Klaviyo to Power BI

Every morning, Spojit pulls Klaviyo campaign and flow results and writes them to the table your Power BI model reads. When the load finishes, it refreshes the model so the report is current. You need a Klaviyo private API key, plus a Microsoft Entra app registration with access to your Power BI workspace; describe the workflow and Miraxa builds it.

Klaviyo's own reports stay inside Klaviyo, while the business reports everything else in Power BI. Spojit moves the email and SMS numbers across: campaign and flow performance and the events behind them, landed in a database Power BI already reads, then refreshed through the Power BI REST API.

What you'll need to connect

Refreshing a semantic model needs a Microsoft Entra app registration with access to the Power BI workspace, plus a database Power BI reads, such as MySQL or Snowflake. Klaviyo connects with a private API key.

Automations you can build

Klaviyo and Power BI, working together

When

Every morning

Spojit does

load yesterday's Klaviyo campaign and flow results into the reporting table

When

A campaign finishes sending

Spojit does

record its results and refresh the marketing report

When

Month end

Spojit does

land the month's attributed revenue next to sales from your store

When

A refresh fails

Spojit does

alert the data team with the reason Power BI returned

What you get

Built for how Klaviyo and Power BI really work

Marketing next to sales

Klaviyo results in the same model as store and finance data, so channels compare fairly.

Fresh every morning

Data lands and the model refreshes before the team opens the report.

No push datasets

Built on landing tables and refreshes, the pattern that outlasts Microsoft's push dataset retirement.

The difference

Why teams build this on Spojit

Most teams get Klaviyo into Power BI with CSV exports or a separate ETL tool. Spojit pulls the data through the Klaviyo connector, writes it to a source Power BI already reads, such as MySQL or Snowflake, and refreshes the model when it lands.

With Spojit

  • Klaviyo is built in, and Power BI is refreshed through its REST API.
  • Refreshes run only when data lands, which matters with eight refreshes a day on shared capacity.
  • Billed by execution time, not per row.
FAQ

Klaviyo + Power BI, answered

Can Spojit push Klaviyo data straight into Power BI?

Microsoft is retiring push datasets, so Spojit lands the data in a source your model reads and refreshes the model instead.

Which Klaviyo data can be reported?

Campaigns, flows, lists and events, read through the Klaviyo API.

How often can it refresh?

On shared capacity, eight times a day in total. Spojit refreshes when new data lands.

What is possible depends on your plan and authorized API access. Some Klaviyo and Power BI endpoints and capabilities are gated by the vendor (for example, parts of an API may require a higher tier, and write access can require a custom or add-on connection on an eligible plan), so not every workflow is available on every account from day one. You can request a feature or integration any time, and we will get in touch to figure out how to make it work.
