Human in the loop
Human in the loop is a workflow pattern where an automated process pauses for a person to review, approve, or correct something before it continues. It combines the speed of automation with human judgment on the decisions that matter.
Full automation is not always wise: some steps need a person to sign off, like a large payment, a customer-facing reply, or an AI-drafted decision. A human-in-the-loop step pauses the workflow, routes the item to the right person, and resumes once they respond.
This pattern is what makes AI automation safe to deploy. The model does the heavy lifting, drafts the output, and proposes an action, but a person stays accountable for what actually goes out or gets committed.
Spojit has human-in-the-loop as a first-class step: a workflow can pause for an approval, capture the decision, and only then continue, with the whole thing recorded.
