Marketo Engage is powerful once the data is in it, and getting the data in is usually the hard part. Spojit connects Marketo to the systems that know your customers, through the Marketo REST API: new customers and orders become leads and activities, large lists go in through bulk import, and campaigns are triggered when something real happens.
Spojit connects to Marketo through the Marketo REST API with HTTP Requests, using a LaunchPoint custom service's client ID and secret and your instance's Munchkin ID. There is no pre-built tile: Miraxa builds the requests.
- A Marketo Engage instance and its Munchkin ID
- A LaunchPoint custom service (client ID and client secret) for an API-only user
What you can automate in Marketo
A customer places a first order
Create or update the Marketo lead with order details and add them to a program
A list arrives from an event or partner
Load it with Marketo's bulk import instead of thousands of single calls
A customer's account changes in your ERP
Update the lead fields Marketo uses for scoring and segmentation
A high-value lead is identified
Request a Marketo campaign for that lead and alert sales in Slack
Built for real Marketo work
Lead sync
Leads created and updated from commerce, CRM and ERP data, matched on email or your own key.
Bulk import
Large lists loaded as bulk import jobs, which is what Marketo expects for volume.
Campaign triggers
Campaigns requested from real events, not nightly batch uploads.
Good to know about connecting Marketo
Each instance has its own API host built from the Munchkin ID, and access tokens come from the instance's identity endpoint with the client ID and secret.
Tokens expire. Marketo returns error 601 or 602 rather than an HTTP 401 when a token is invalid or expired, so the integration watches for those codes and fetches a fresh token before retrying.
The REST API allows 100 calls per 20 seconds per instance and, on most subscriptions, 50,000 calls a day (errors 606 and 607). Single-lead calls burn through that fast, so lists go through bulk import as CSV jobs.
Marketo can return HTTP 200 with errors inside the response body, so success is read from the body, not the status code.
Why teams automate Marketo on Spojit
With Spojit
- Token refresh and Marketo's error codes are handled, and volume goes through bulk import.
- Calls are paced inside Marketo's per-instance limits, and tokens are refreshed when they expire.
- Connects Marketo to Adobe Commerce, NetSuite, Shopify and other systems it has no native link to.

Marketo automation, answered
What credentials does Spojit need?
A LaunchPoint custom service tied to an API-only user, which gives a client ID and secret, plus your Munchkin ID from Admin, Web Services.
Will Spojit use up our daily API quota?
Spojit paces calls and uses bulk import for volume, so it stays well inside Marketo's limits for normal use. Large backfills are planned around the daily quota.
Can Spojit connect Marketo to Adobe Commerce?
Yes. Spojit has a built-in Adobe Commerce connector, so orders and customers can flow into Marketo as leads and activities.
What is possible depends on your plan and authorized Marketo API access. Some endpoints are gated by the vendor or your account tier, so not every workflow is available on every account from day one. You can request a feature or integration any time, and we will get in touch to figure out how to make it work.
