What is it?
Datasets in the Spojit Flow platform allow you to store your tabular information either from a workflow or externally and then use that within the same workflow or different ones.
What does it do?
Datasets are separate database tables that consist of rows and columns. The dataset service allows interactions with this collection of data including:
- creating, updating, and deleting of row data
- searching for single rows
- searching for multiple rows
Use Cases
Datasets are most commonly used for the storage and use of customer, company, and internal data as well as for training machine learning models. Some of the examples include:
- Validation of customer address postal code details
- Lookup of product SKU details between platforms
- Storage of time series data used for financial forecasting
- Setting up a dynamic variable for online restaurant ordering times
