MyDHL API credentials are issued per app on the DHL developer portal, and test and production credentials are separate, so build and check labels against the test environment before switching.
International shipments need customs data on the shipment: item descriptions, commodity codes, values and the export reason. Missing customs fields are the most common reason a shipment is rejected.
Rates depend on the account behind the request. The connector's rates tool returns DHL's rates for the route; quotes with your account's own pricing send your account number in the request, which the raw API tool supports.
