Good to know about connecting Klaviyo
Klaviyo's API is versioned by a revision date sent with each request, and the response shape follows that revision. Pinning the revision keeps a workflow stable when Klaviyo releases a new one.
Custom events are the cleanest way to get outside data into flows: the event name triggers the flow and its properties fill the email, without new profile fields for everything.
Use a private key scoped to what the workflow does, such as profiles and events write. A full-access key is rarely needed.
