Automate MySQL

Run queries and keep tables current with data from your store, ERP and APIs, so reports, BI tools and other apps read fresh numbers.

  2. Read new ordersaction
  3. Upsert into MySQLaction
  4. Refresh reportsaction
  5. Numbers currentdone

A MySQL database is often where data from many systems comes together for reporting or for another application. Spojit's built-in MySQL connector runs queries and manages tables and rows, so workflows can load data from Shopify, NetSuite, QuickBooks or any API, and read it back to act on it.

How Spojit connects MySQL

MySQL is a built-in connector in Spojit, connected with the host, port, database user and password of a database Spojit can reach over the internet.

What you need
  • A MySQL database reachable from Spojit
  • Host, port, database name, user and password
Automations you can build

What you can automate in MySQL

When

Every hour

Spojit does

Load new orders from your store into a reporting table

When

A webhook delivers a JSON payload

Spojit does

Flatten it and insert the rows into MySQL

When

Data lands for the day

Spojit does

Trigger the Power BI refresh that reads the table

When

A query finds a problem

Spojit does

Alert the team in Slack with the rows that need attention

What you get

Built for real MySQL work

Queries

Run SELECT and write queries from any workflow.

Tables and rows

Create and manage tables and insert, update and delete rows.

A reporting hub

Land data from many systems in one place for BI tools and other apps.

Integration notes

Good to know about connecting MySQL

The database has to accept connections from Spojit over the internet, ideally with TLS, so a database on a private network that is not exposed cannot be reached.

Use a database user with only the rights a workflow needs, for example insert on the reporting schema, rather than an admin user.

Load in batches and make each load idempotent, for example with an upsert on the source ID, so a re-run does not double the rows.

The difference

Why teams automate MySQL on Spojit

With Spojit

  • A built-in MySQL connector for loading and reading data in the same workflow.
  • Works as the landing table for Power BI and other tools that read a database.
  • Durable execution keeps long loads going through a timeout or a retry.

FAQ

MySQL automation, answered

Can Spojit load data into MySQL from QuickBooks or NetSuite?

Yes. Spojit reads from those systems and writes the rows into your MySQL tables.

Does my database need to be public?

It needs to be reachable from Spojit over the network, ideally with TLS and a restricted user.

Can MySQL feed Power BI?

Yes. Land the data in MySQL and have Spojit trigger the Power BI refresh when it is in.

What is possible depends on your plan and authorized MySQL API access. Some endpoints are gated by the vendor or your account tier, so not every workflow is available on every account from day one. You can request a feature or integration any time, and we will get in touch to figure out how to make it work.
