Spojit
NetSuite automation

Run workflows from NetSuite events

NetSuite has no general outbound webhook setting, so Spojit gives you two ways to act on record changes: a small SuiteScript that posts each event to a signed Spojit webhook, or a scheduled SuiteQL query for records changed since the last run.

  1. NetSuite record savedtrigger
  2. Verify signatureaction
  3. Load full recordaction
  4. Notify and syncaction
  5. Event handleddone
How it works

The workflow, step by step

    1

    Choose push or poll

Push suits real-time needs: a user event script sends the record when it is created or edited. Polling suits everything else and needs no scripting in NetSuite.

    2

    Receive the event

For push, the script posts to a Spojit webhook trigger secured with an HMAC signature. For polling, a schedule runs SuiteQL on the last modified date.

    3

    Load the full record

The workflow reads the record through the NetSuite connector, so it acts on current data, not just the event payload.

    4

    Act on it

Update the store, notify a team in Slack, create a task, sync a carrier, or anything else the event should trigger.

    5

    Record what happened

Each run is logged, and the event ID prevents the same change being processed twice.

How Spojit connects NetSuite

NetSuite is a built-in connector in Spojit, connected with Token-Based Authentication: an integration record's consumer key and secret plus a user's token ID and secret, with REST Web Services enabled.

What you need
  • Your NetSuite account ID
  • An integration record with Token-Based Authentication (consumer key and secret)
  • An access token for a role with the permissions you need (token ID and secret)
Make it yours

Ways to adapt it

  • Notify sales in Slack when a large sales order is approved.
  • Push item price changes to every store as they are saved.
  • Start a fulfilment workflow when a sales order reaches pending fulfillment.
  • Poll every 5 minutes for invoices marked paid and update the CRM.
FAQ

Questions, answered

Does NetSuite have webhooks?

Not as a general setting. A short SuiteScript user event script can post changes to any URL, which is the usual way to get real-time events out of NetSuite.

Do I have to write SuiteScript?

No. Polling with SuiteQL needs no script, and Miraxa can write the user event script for you if you want push.

How is the webhook secured?

Spojit webhook triggers can require an HMAC signature, so only your script can start the workflow.
