Export WooCommerce data to JSON
Spojit reads WooCommerce orders, products or customers through the WooCommerce connector or receives them from store webhooks, shapes the JSON the receiving system needs, and delivers it to an API, a webhook, SFTP or email.
- Woo order webhooktrigger
- Shape JSONaction
- Validate fieldsaction
- Post to 3PL APIaction
- Delivereddone
The workflow, step by step
Get the data
Read orders, products or customers on a schedule, or receive them from a WooCommerce webhook as they change.
Shape the JSON
JSON tools pick, rename and restructure fields to the format the receiver expects, such as a 3PL's order schema.
Validate it
The JSON is checked against the receiver's required fields before it is sent.
Deliver it
Post it to an API or webhook, upload it to SFTP as a file, or email it.
Handle failures
Rejected deliveries are retried and, if they keep failing, flagged to the team with the response.
WooCommerce is a built-in connector in Spojit, connected with REST API keys (a consumer key and secret) generated in your WordPress admin under WooCommerce, Settings, Advanced, REST API.
- Your store URL
- A WooCommerce REST API consumer key and consumer secret with read or read/write permission
Ways to adapt it
- Send each new order to a 3PL's API in its own JSON format.
- Export the full product catalog nightly for a marketplace feed.
- Convert to CSV or XML for systems that do not take JSON.
- Only export orders in certain statuses or from certain countries.
Questions, answered
Doesn't WooCommerce already speak JSON?
The WooCommerce REST API returns JSON, but rarely in the shape another system wants. Spojit reshapes and delivers it.
Can it export as orders are placed?
Yes. A WooCommerce webhook starts the workflow for each new or updated order.
Do I need a plugin?
No. Spojit uses the WooCommerce REST API and webhooks.
